This year's winter reading challenge will be from January 11th through March 15th and will be in-person. When you register for the reading challenge, you will receive a chain with a Wellesley Free Library tag on it. You can use this chain to collect challenge beads.
Read and get a bead per block achieved! Families please decide together how much reading each block should be worth. Remember that this is designed to be fun and also a challenge. The library recommends a minimum of ten minutes per block.
Register at the Children’s Desk for a tracking log paper. Log your minutes and collect as many beads as you can during the challenge. Registering for this challenge automatically enters you into a raffle to win a prize from a local vendor, like the Wellesley Book Store, Wellesley Toy Store, and more when the contest ends! Best for pre-school to 8th grade.
