Do you have a bunch of photos on your DSLR camera memory card that you're not sure what to do with? Learn how to take better photographs and video with your digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR) with this interactive multi-day class. Participants will learn how to take better composed pictures by using the “Rule of Thirds” of photography, as well as how to hold their camera for steadier, blur-free photos, in addition to learning the who, what, when, where and why of every camera control and how to control them for the best photographic result. You will also learn about the relationship between the camera shutter speed and lens aperture. Robert Michelson will teach you his “See-saw effect” of photography to easily take control while interacting with both the shutter speed and aperture with amazing results!
Backing-up and storage of your original camera files is very important to every photographer. Whether you plan to print, create digital slideshows, publish photo books, or post to social media, you still need to download, backup and organize your photos on your computer. Each student will leave class with a personal photo management plan by the end of the program.
This comprehensive 4-week program will take participants through the magical world of DSLR Photography techniques, from Basic through intermediate and advanced levels. Patrons should plan on attending all 4 weeks to get the most out of the progressive program.
